Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Valley Vikings, falling 17-0. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 20-2 to the Vikings when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Highland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-0 loss against St. Pius X on the 15th. As for Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 14-5 defeat against Bernalillo on the 15th.
