Meanwhile, while Bishop Hartley put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Bexley. Bishop Hartley blew past Bexley 17-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Jasmine Wooten was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero hits, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double.

In other batting news, Morgan Bailey was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Nia Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Bishop Hartley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bexley only posted an OBP of .158.

Jonathan Alder took their win against Bishop Hartley when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 15-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jonathan Alder since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
