Basketball Recap: War Hill Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between War Hill Christian Academy and White Creek Christian Academy, and War Hill Christian Academy kept the tradition alive. The War Hill Christian Academy Warriors took a 76-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Creek Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Maximus Whitmire was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double with 25 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists for White Creek Christian Academy. Whitmire is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in each of the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Shook, who posted 15 points.

War Hill Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for White Creek Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.
