Griswold has gone 9-1 against Bacon Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wolverines will square off against the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. Griswold is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

On Monday, Griswold was able to grind out a solid victory over Montville, taking the game 3-1.

Griswold found their leader in freshman Olivia Falco, who had six aces and three digs.

Griswold was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 20 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Bacon Academy posted their closest win since October 4, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Plainfield.

Bacon Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-90), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 26-24, 7-25, 25-20, 17-25, 15-13.

Griswold's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Bacon Academy, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-8.

Griswold beat Bacon Academy 3-1 in their previous meeting on October 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
