Basketball Game Preview: Rapid River Rockets vs. North Dickinson Nordics

Rapid River saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came out on top against Superior Central by a score of 37-26.

Meanwhile, North Dickinson entered their tilt with Big Bay de Noc on Wednesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Black Bears 70-14. 70 seems to be a good number for the Nordics as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

North Dickinson's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for Rapid River, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Rapid River was dealt a bruising 64-34 loss at the hands of North Dickinson in their previous meeting last Monday. Can Rapid River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
