Baseball Game Preview: Piggott Mohawks vs. Riverside Rebels

The Piggott Mohawks will head out on the road to face off against the Riverside Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Piggott has given up an average of 14.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Piggott wound up with the same score they had in their last game (19-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They came up short against Rehobeth on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The match marked the first time this year in which Riverside was not able to get on the board.

Piggott's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.

Everything went Piggott's way against Riverside when the teams last played back in April of 2018, as Piggott made off with an 11-1 win. Will Piggott repeat their success, or does Riverside has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
