2015-16 Missouri Preseason Boys Basketball Fab 5, presented by the Army National Guard

1. Chaminade (St. Louis)
Head coach: Frank Bennett
2014-15 record: 25-4

Future Duke Blue Devil Jayson Tatum (6-8, Sr., G) leads what will likely be a unanimous preseason national Top 10 team. Tatum averaged over 26 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior and is a leading candidate for MaxPreps National Player of the Year honors. He's surrounded by an all-star supporting cast that includes Iowa commit Tyler Cook (6-7, Sr., F), Will Gladson (6-10, Sr., F/C), Michael Lewis II (6-2, Sr., G) and Reggie Crawford (6-4, Jr., G).

2. Barstow (Kansas City)
Head coach: Billy Thomas
2014-15 record: 29-2

Missouri's defending Class 3 state champions could be a national rankings darkhorse. The Knights lose just two players from last year's run and bring back their top four scorers. All-stater Jeriah Horne (6-7, Sr., F) led the way at 18.9 points per game but got plenty of help from Shea Rush (6-6, Sr., F), Jacob Gilyard (5-9, Jr., G) and Tripp Walsworth (6-1, Sr., G).

3. Father Tolton (Columbia)
Head coach: Jeremy Osborne
2014-15 record: 24-3

These are pretty lofty expectations for a new, small private school. But it's hard not to get excited about the combination of brothers Michael Porter (6-8, Jr., G/F) and Jontay Porter (6-9, So., F). Michael was a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American a year ago after putting up 26.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Jontay surprised many over the summer with an early commitment to Washington.

4. Christian Brothers (St. Louis)
Head coach: Justin Tatum
2014-15 record: 19-7

How about this for a high school basketball twist? Christian Brothers head coach Justin Tatum is the father of Chaminade's Jayson Tatum. The two teams met twice last year with son sweeping father aside in both games. This year's Cadets will be led by the backcourt duo of Jordan Barnes (5-11, Sr.) and Christian Willis (6-2, Sr.).

5. St. Louis Christian Academy
Head coach: Casey Autenrieth
2014-15 record: 15-7

The Cougars are an independent program that knocked off several national powers in 2014-15. The point guard spot is in great hands this season with Godwin Boahen (5-11, Sr.), one of the most underappreciated prospects in the country. Daniel Sackey (5-9, So., G) and Mamoudou Diarra (6-9, Jr., F) should make a name for themselves this season.
