Basketball Recap: Prairieville Takes a Loss

Prairieville suffered their closest loss since December 27, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Dutchtown Griffins by a score of 49-46. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-30 back in December of 2024.

Prairieville's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12. As for Dutchtown, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-19.

Prairieville will welcome Walker on Tuesday. As for Dutchtown, they will head out to face off against St. Amant at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
