Baseball Game Preview: Napoleon Pirates vs. Olivet Eagles

The Napoleon Pirates will head out to square off against the Olivet Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Napoleon will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Eight must be Napoleon's lucky number: they beat Addison with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Pirates beat the Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Olivet was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Portland, falling 12-2.

Napoleon now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Olivet, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Napoleon suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Olivet in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
