Soccer Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

Panther Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Middle Creek Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Middle Creek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Panther Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Middle Creek, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Panther Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middle Creek, they will welcome Lee County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Middle Creek's defense better be ready for this one: Lee County have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
