Softball Recap: Amphitheater's Losing Streak Snapped at 11 Games

Amphitheater can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Catalina Trojans with a sharp 18-3 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The team relied heavily on Isabella Espinoza, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Talisa Yrigolla, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Espinoza wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Amphitheater lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.
