Softball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

After flying high against Corner on Friday, West Point came back down to earth. West Point fell 5-2 to the Southeastern Mustangs on Friday.

West Point saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Burks, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

West Point now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Southeastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, West Point and Southeastern will both be playing Hayden the next time they take the field. Southeastern will host Hayden on Friday, while West Point will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
