Westwood waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gwinn Modeltowners 53-21. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Modeltowners are ranked 461st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Westwood's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Gwinn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
