Volleyball Recap: Maine West Comes Up Short

Maine West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Niles West Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on October 6th.

While Maine West ultimately came up short, they really made Niles West work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 28-26.

Maine West's defeat dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Niles West, they moved to 21-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Maine West will face off against Lane Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Niles West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
