Volleyball Recap: Deerfield Beach Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Deerfield Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the South Broward Bulldogs. The Bucks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 25-12.

Giovanna Campos paced Deerfield Beach's offense, picking up eight kills. Campos got some help from Audrianna Calvet and her 15 assists. Finally, Mia Campbell kept Deerfield Beach's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Deerfield Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for South Broward, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deerfield Beach will face off against Hollywood Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Broward, they will square off against Cypress Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
