 The Ada Cougars will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Byng Pirates at 1:00  p.m. Given that  both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
 Ada struggled with  assists on Saturday (Tuttle had 11 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Ada was dealt a  56-28 loss at the hands of Tuttle. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ada in their matchups with Tuttle: they've now lost five in a row.
 Despite the  defeat, Ada had strong showings from  Sadie Epps, who  scored 13 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals, and  Ava Campos, who  scored seven points along with five  rebounds. Epps is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Byng's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They took a   48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Broken Bow.
 Ada has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost nine of their last ten matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record  this season. As for Byng, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.
