Preview: Alice Coyotes vs. Tuloso-Midway Warriors
The Alice Coyotes will be playing at home against the Tuloso-Midway Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Alice scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Harmony School of Excellence 80-50 at home. With Alice ahead 47-18 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Alejandro Asevedo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Calvin Villanueva, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Tuloso-Midway posted their biggest victory since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They breezed by Harmony School of Excellence at home to the tune of 90-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tuloso-Midway.
Alice has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Tuloso-Midway, they pushed their record up to 13-14 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Alice was able to grind out a solid victory over Tuloso-Midway when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 45-35. Does Alice have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tuloso-Midway turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
