Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Warren Warhawks vs. Ankeny Christian Academy

The Southeast Warren Warhawks will head out to take on Ankeny Christian Academy on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Southeast Warren is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Woodward Academy, posting an 81-47 win. Given the Warhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Knights are ranked 287th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ankeny Christian Academy humbled Mormon Trail with an 85-37 victory. Ankeny Christian Academy hasn't had any issues with Mormon Trail recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win made it two in a row for Southeast Warren and bumps their season record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points over those games. As for Ankeny Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
