Basketball Recap: Westbrook Takes a Loss

Westbrook entered their contest against Hermleigh on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Westbrook Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Hermleigh Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 48-41 defeat back in January.

Westbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 28-2. As for Hermleigh, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Westbrook nor Hermleigh have any future games scheduled.
