Football Recap: Provo Bulldogs vs. Timpanogos Timberwolves

Provo won the last time they faced Timpanogos and Gehrig Orchard did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 61-24 win over the Timberwolves for which the team can thank Orchard, who threw for 440 yards and seven TDs while completing 80% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Provo's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-4 otherwise.

Griffin Demartini did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 109 receiving yards. His longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards.

Provo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Liam Schoenrock and Cole Schouman. Schouman also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine. Provo received some extra help from Makeli Toutai, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Despite the loss, Timpanogos still got an impressive performance from Andrew Hillstead, who threw for 399 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. Shane Eaquinto also helped out as he racked up 106 receiving yards.
