Football Recap: John Paul II Guardians vs. Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights
Friday just wasn't the day for John Paul II's offense. They had to suffer through a 58-0 loss at the hands of the Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights. The Guardians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
A big part of Hill Country Christian School of Austin's victory came down to the chemistry between Jacob Rasberry and his top target Ty Vacek. Rasberry threw for 198 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes while Vacek picked up 99 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
John Paul II's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
