Basketball Recap: James Madison Takes Down Ranked Langley

On Tuesday, James Madison faced Langley in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The James Madison Warhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 victory over the Langley Saxons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warhawks have posted since January 23rd.

Despite the loss, Langley still got an impressive performance from Peyton Daley, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Anya Rahman was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

The victory got James Madison back to even at 2-2. As for Langley, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

James Madison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-32 win against Meridian on the 11th. As for Langley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-31 victory against Bishop O'Connell on the 11th.
