Basketball Recap: Emmetsburg Extends Winning Streak to 11

Emmetsburg waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the South O'Brien Wolverines by a score of 45-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the E'Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Emmetsburg pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. As for South O'Brien, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emmetsburg will venture away from home to take on Newell-Fonda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Newell-Fonda's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for South O'Brien, they are taking a road trip to challenge Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
