Softball Recap: Tallmadge Comes Up Short

Tallmadge lost against Aurora on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Greenmen by a score of 6-5. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leila Staszak made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 4-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.

Tallmadge's record is now 7-7. As for Aurora, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tallmadge is set to face off against their familiar foe Cuyahoga Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aurora will challenge rival Copley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
