Pioneer took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Skyline, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pioneers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Eagles on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pioneers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

The win got Pioneer back to even at 17-17. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-13-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Pioneer nor Skyline have any future games scheduled.
