Soccer Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Bladen Knights.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Bladen, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakewood will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge East Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Bladen, they will head out to square off against East Bladen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
