Basketball Game Preview: Walton Raiders vs. Marietta Blue Devils

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marietta, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Etowah out 39-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since January 30, 2024.

Marietta found their leader in freshman Leah DeWitt, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 20 points and five rebounds. The match was DeWitt's 24th in a row with at least ten points. Kennedi Cox was another key player, putting up seven points.

Walton's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Marietta, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
