Chesapeake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres. One positive for the Cougars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Chesapeake Cougars duke it out with the Howard Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Howard's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Sts. Peter & Paul will take on Salisbury in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sts. Peter & Paul is facing Salisbury at the right time seeing as Salisbury is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
