Softball Game Preview: Bradley Central Bears vs. Hixson Wildcats

The Bradley Central Bears will square off against the Hixson Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Bradley Central blew Whitwell out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Whitwell got their revenge. The Bears fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-2. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lynlee Hodge was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Hixson's offense. They came up short against Cleveland on Monday, falling 8-0. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Hixson's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Bradley Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14-1.

Bradley Central beat Hixson 4-0 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
