Sports Leadership & Management has won eight straight games at home (dating back to last season), while The Meadows School has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Bulls will host the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Sports Leadership & Management got the win against Valley by a conclusive 17-1.

Mya Schweisthal was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Sports Leadership & Management let Carmen Castro and Naima Ralston run wild. Castro went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double, while Ralston went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Castro has posted since back in May of 2024. Lexi St. Pierre was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Sports Leadership & Management always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley only posted an OBP of .143.
Meanwhile, The Meadows School made easy work of Sunrise Mountain on Wednesday and carried off a 19-9 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won four in a row.
The team relied heavily on Leighton Bekhor, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Tessa Rosenstein, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Sports Leadership & Management's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for The Meadows School, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Sports Leadership & Management has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .654. However, it's not like The Meadows School struggles in that department as they've averaged .534. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
