Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Sets Scoring Season-High Against Davenport

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest Christian School). They breezed by the Davenport Gorillas to the tune of 82-46 on Friday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Northwest Christian School was led to victory by Avi West and Caleb Grant. West went 12 of 19 on his way to 33 points, while Grant went 11 for 15 en route to 26 points. The game was West's 25th in a row with at least ten points.

Northwest Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.3 points. As for Davenport, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Christian School will take on Reardan at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Northwest Christian School comes in on eight and Reardan on six. As for Davenport, they will challenge Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
