Charles Henderson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Autauga Academy Generals as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Trenton Bryan tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Chase Vaznaian and Cooper Johnson did most of the damage at the plate: Vaznaian went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double, while Johnson scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Johnson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Pugh, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Charles Henderson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Charles Henderson's record now sits at 12-9. As for Autauga Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charles Henderson will welcome Wetumpka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Autauga Academy, they will host Billingsley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
