Recap: Webber Trojans vs. Cisne Runnin' Lions

The Webber Trojans waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They walked away with a 73-64 victory over Cisne. Given Webber's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while Cisne is ranked 534th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Webber to victory were Nikkos Ulm and Nathaniel Marlow. Ulm scored 23 points, while Marlow scored 30 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Bain, who scored six points.

Webber's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-3. As for Cisne, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webber will square off against Grayville at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Cisne, they will head out on the road to square off against Waltonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
