Volleyball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Metro Christian Patriots. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-2. As for Metro Christian, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Coincidentally, Sequoyah and Metro Christian will both be playing Berryhill the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Chiefs at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
