Preview: Rowland Hall Winged Lions vs. Draper APA Eagles
Two dominant guards in Yeshi Tsering and Urban Baldwin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Rowland Hall Winged Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Draper APA Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Rowland Hall posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Waterford 55-52.
It was another big night for Tsering, who scored 29 points along with three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Landen Brady was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Draper APA scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Joseph as Draper APA made off with a 83-59 win. The victory was just what Draper APA needed coming off of a 78-57 defeat in their prior contest.
Draper APA's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Carter Vijayaraghavan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds, and Luke Greenwell, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Greenwell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Parker Overby, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Rowland Hall hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 57.5 points per game. It's a different story for Draper APA, though, as they've been averaging only 56.2 points per game. The only thing between Rowland Hall and another offensive beatdown is Draper APA. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Rowland Hall couldn't quite finish off Draper APA in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 and fell 58-56. Thankfully for Rowland Hall, Julian Zavala (who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
