Recap: Chambers Academy Rebels vs. Lakeside School Chiefs
The Chambers Academy Rebels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 51-50 photo finish over Lakeside School. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chambers Academy.
Despite the loss, Lakeside School still got an impressive performance from Chloe Helms, who scored 25 points. That was a full 50% of Lakeside School's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sophie Seaborn, who scored 12 points.
Chambers Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Lakeside School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Abbeville Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Lakeside School will head out to face Abbeville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Chambers Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
