North Myrtle Beach is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Musselman. The Chiefs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Applemen. The victory was nothing new for the Chiefs as they're now sitting on eight straight dating back to last season.

Leading North Myrtle Beach to victory were Mikayla Altena and Katlyn Powers. Altena had 18 assists and eight digs, while Powers had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Powers has posted since back in October of 2024.

North Myrtle Beach's record is now 3-0. As for Musselman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
