Softball Recap: Sycamore Takes a Loss

Sycamore lost to Lakota East back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Aviators lost 11-2 to the Thunderhawks.

Sycamore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Gambaccini, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one double.

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Lakota East, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Coming up, Sycamore will face off against Oak Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakota East, they will host Harrison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
