It was a good run, but Richland unfortunately witnessed the end of their 29-game winning streak dating back to last season on Saturday. They fell 6-3 to the Mt. Spokane Wildcats. The loss was the Bombers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Richland fell to 2-1. As for Mt. Spokane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Lake City at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Spokane will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mead at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. The game will give Mt. Spokane their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
