Basketball Recap: Millington Comes Up Short

Millington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 48-19 loss at the hands of the Cass City Red Hawks. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Millington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Cass City, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Coming up, Millington won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harbor Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cass City, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Bridgeport at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
