Basketball Recap: Silverado Skates Past Victor Valley with Ease

Silverado won the last time they faced Victor Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Silverado Hawks blew past the Victor Valley Jackrabbits, posting a 69-41 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Victor Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JESIAH HYDER posted ten points. HYDER continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Silverado is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Victor Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Silverado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-35 win against Granite Hills on the 24th. As for Victor Valley, they will welcome Barstow at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. Victor Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
