Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stafford). They came out on top against the Alief Hastings Bears by a score of 12-7 on Thursday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Maxwell Frels was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Dana Williams was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The win got Stafford back to even at 3-3. As for Alief Hastings, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Stafford has already played their next match (against Fort Bend Bush), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Alief Hastings, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fort Bend Clements at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
