Merrimack Valley had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Manchester West on Monday. The Pride put the hurt on the Blue Knights with a sharp 15-2 victory. The Pride might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

Merrimack Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Manchester West, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

When Merrimack Valley and Manchester West next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Pride will take on Oyster River and their five-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Merrimack Valley has won four straight at home dating back to last season, while the Bobcats won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Manchester West will try to stop Coe-Brown Academy's three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
