Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williams). They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging an 81-44 victory over the Grand Canyon Phantoms. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-44 last Monday.

Williams got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mario Pedraza out in front who went 9 for 18 en route to 21 points and four steals. Pedraza is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Josh Rue-Wilbur was another key player, putting up 12 points and six assists.

Williams' victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Grand Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Williams has already played their next game, a 43-38 win against BASIS Flagstaff on the 14th. As for Grand Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-77 victory against Music Mountain on the 17th.
