Ellicottville came out on top against Franklinville on Tuesday thanks in part to Katie Lafferty's efforts. Lafferty turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
