Volleyball Recap: Conway Falls Short Against Ranked Socastee

Conway faced Socastee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Braves. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Braves this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Socastee, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Conway will face off against rival Carolina Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Socastee is set to challenge their familiar foe St. James at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
