Klein Oak made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Jersey Village, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Klein Oak Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Jersey Village Falcons a 15-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Panthers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Riannah Boulanger looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had over her last six matchups.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Morgan Sanchez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gianna Gomez, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Klein Oak kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jersey Village only managed three hits.

Klein Oak's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Jersey Village, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Klein Oak will take on Bridgeland in a tournament on Saturday. Klein Oak's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Bridgeland's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Jersey Village, they will welcome Stratford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jersey Village has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
