Football Recap: Corcoran Comes Up Short

Corcoran fell victim to East Syracuse-Minoa and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Spartans. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Corcoran and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corcoran is set to square off against their familiar foe Fowler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Syracuse-Minoa will face off against rival Fulton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
