Softball Recap: Garaway Takes a Loss

If Garaway was riding high fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Coshocton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates fell just short of the Indian Valley Braves by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

With the loss, Garaway broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Indian Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

As for Indian Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tuscarawas Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Trojans a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
