Rocky Mountain Lutheran won the last time they faced Victory Prep Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Knights 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rocky Mountain Lutheran took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Izzy Curtis and Avery Marrs, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Alyiah Trujillo and her ten assists. Rebekah Thiel controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Victory Prep Academy, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rocky Mountain Lutheran will challenge rival Denver Waldorf at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Victory Prep Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Mile High Academy at 5:00 p.m. on October 1.
